Alysta [ahl-ahy-stuh] is an important angelic figure in Zevestivan Faith.
Etymology[]
Alysta most likely translates to "Loyal," though it could also mean "Close Companion" since there are similarities to the Elder Zivestivak word Alyska.
Characteristics[]
Alysta is usually portrayed as a humanoid female wearing a red Zomah gown and green Zardu Belt. Older depictions portrayed her as less humanoid like Zoral and Zagophon. Modern depictions likely display her as humanoid with only two wings because she assumed a more humanoid form in many religious texts.
Role in Zevestivan Faith[]
Alysta's most prominent role in the Kor Zoridil was during the forming of the Covenant of Velothi as Kazaryl's companion. After the foundation had been set she gave Malzazta her blessing.
